The International Conference on Quantum Communication, Measurement and Computing (QCMC) was established in 1990 to encourage and bring together scientists and engineers working in the interdisciplinary field of quantum information science and technology.
Previously, fourteen QCMC conferences have been held. The fifteenth conference, initially programmed for June 2020, and then for July 2021, will be QCMC 2022 and will take place on 11-15 July 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal.
It will be organized by the Physics of Information and Quantum Technologies Group, Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, in collaboration with other local colleagues.

- Given several requests, the new deadline for applications to participate in QCMC 2022 is 21 March 2022 (extended from the original deadline of 15 March).
- The nominations for the International Quantum Award "for outstanding achievements in quantum science research" are open until Friday 8 April 2022.
- Due to the corona virus pandemic, and the QCMC Steering Committee, the Chair of the Programme Committee, and the Organizing Committee have decided unanimously to move QCMC 2020/2021 to 11-15 July 2022, with the goal of keeping QMCM a conference where participants meet and discuss in person.
